32nd Place Finish for Jeremy Clements at Kansas Speedway

Fighting a loose race car during qualifying left Jeremy starting 35th in Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300. No problem since the Spartanburg SC native has found himself in the rear of the pack before, climbing his way back towards the front of the field. Lap 54 proved to be a problem, as the “04″ Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Chevrolet ran out of gas. Coasting his way on to pit road, Jeremy refueled and quickly made his way back on the track. He fought his way up once again, making himself a home in the 33rd spot.

Try as he might, with speeds exceeding many drivers ahead of him, he remained in the 33rd position for most of the race. The race was filled with cautions and wrecks, but Jeremy kept himself out of trouble and brought his car home in one piece.

Limited funding kept the team from heading out to California as planned. Next race is Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 15th..
