And Then There Where 2

Leaving the state of Texas a bit frustrated with a loose car, used tires and a 26th place finish, the team headed to the beautiful southwestern state of Arizona and Phoenix International Raceway.

Jeremy struggled with his #51 Chevrolet after a seemingly great start of moving up 12 spots in less than 3 laps. That was short-lived however, when he came over the radio expressing his frustration at a very loose race car. An early caution seemed to be a “God send” but the looseness just got worse.

Each pit stop proved futile as used tires didn’t help the situation. Finally, last pit stop, with under 30 laps to go and in 30th place, the car running the best it had all day, Jeremy took the #51 and pushed himself to 26th. NOT the way the Spartanburg SC native wanted to end his race at Texas Motor Speedway. Undeterred, the team headed out to Phoenix for the WYPALL 200.
