Dover International Speedway
Driving the infamous “Monster Mile” this weekend proved to be a bit challenging to the 04 team. Jeremy opted to take his backup car to the track in anticipation of heavy wrecks. The back up car had steering issues from the start, way too tight. Fighting the car, Jeremy qualified 38th, giving him his first race at Dover International Speedway. Jeremy advanced 10 positions in less than 10 laps. He continued to fight his tight car for over 60 green flag laps. A much needed caution came out when Jeremy headed to the pits. A new problem arose with the gas pouring out of the back of the car.
166 laps completed, the decision was to call him in and call it a day. The team was disappointed to say the least, but as racing is racing, they are preparing to head out to Kansas for the Kansas 300 at the Kansas Speedway which will be aired on Saturday October 2 at 3:30 pm. The season is winding down with 5 scheduled races ahead. We will keep you updated . Follow Jeremy on FB as posts are made daily during the race weekend.
