Jeremy Clement’s Hood in the Pawn Shop
The History Channel’s Rick Harrison, star of the Pawn Stars, loved his day at the track so much, he wanted to bring a piece of it home with him, so the hood of the #51 racedaysponsor.com Chevrolet now stands proudly in the Gold And Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas NV. (see photos) Jeremy started 22 in the pack and moved his way up effortlessly to run in the top 20 for most of the race. On lap 181 the car’s fuel pump gave the car trouble, causing it to stall in the pits. It was decided that the car could not continue and made it’s way into the garage. It was very disappointing to Jeremy as his car was running quite competitively through the field bringing him to 9th position at one point. Although Lady Luck did not shine on his fuel pump issue, the car breezed through 2 wrecks and ended up going home in one piece, minus the hood..Jeremy spent a busy week in Vegas, with meet and greets, Kurt Busch fundraiser and even a little time to jump off the Stratosphere with his brother Jason.
The team is back in Spartanburg SC resting and preparing for the race next weekend in Bristol.
We would like to thank all our sponsors Race Day Sponsor, Repairable Vehicle, Rail Road Pass Hotel, Patrick Pitello, Duene Bren, Carolina Collision, Coca Cola Spartanburg, M and S concrete.
