Jeremy Clements Survives RIR

A career best qualifying effort of 13th place put Jeremy in the top 20 to start this weeks race. Feeling totally confident in the car, the team expected to have a great top 15th place finish. As the race started things got a little crazy as over anxious drivers began their usual rush to the front .Jeremy was holding his own, running with the pack that got to be 3 and 4 wide. As a cautiously agressive driver, Jeremy dropped back and was fighting for 20th place position when an overly anxious driver

hit his car and sent him into the wall. The damage sustained was not serious enough to put him behind the wall, but was only able to be fixed to get him out on the track again. The night didn’t get better from there. Fighting an obvioulsy “crippled” car, compounded with a few bad pit stops, the “04″ Impala stuck to the track and ended up in a 33rd place finish. Not exactly where the team expected nor wanted to be.

We would like to thank our sponsors Boudreaux’s Buttpaste, M and S Concrete, Lowery Plumbing, Lozo.com. and racedaysponsor.com for their support.

The team is taking the next race off and will then be headed to Kansas Speedway for the October 2nd race. They plan on running at least 5 more races with the last race at Homestead Miami. We will keep you informed.

As today is September 11, we would like to take this time to remember all those touched by the tragedy of that day.
