Jeremy Finishes 25th at CARFAX 250 at MIS
Jeremy started 29th in Saturday’s CARFAX 250 and was moving up steadily through the field when a cut tire forced him into the pits during green flag causing him to go 2 laps down. Jeremy maintained his place at 25th fighting the car the whole way. As this was the second time this car was driven, it will take Jeremy a few more practices and races to get it the way he likes it.. Jeremy managed to hold on to the car and bring it home in a respectable 25th place finish. Not what the team wanted but nonetheless, a whole race car made it back to the shop in Spartanburg where it will be readied for the next COT race.
The team had several guests with them this weekend which made for a great time in Michigan. A lakeside BBQ courtesy of Todd from Wardcraft Conveyor was what the team needed to ready themselves for the race on Saturday. Todd was on hand for the practice sessions and race along with his family. Mike and Paige from M & S Concrete were also there with their undying support to Jeremy and the team. We have to thank Paige for all her help with the handing out of the Boudreaux’s samples .
Jeremy Clements NASCAR Fan: Steve Johnson of Campobello is a huge fan of Nationwide Series race car driver Jeremy Clements and encourages people to support the Spartanburg driver. “Some of the companies around here should take a look at this guy,” says Mr. Johnson. “He’s a very good race car driver. He needs our support. I want to see him do good
The team is heading out to Bristol Tn. for Food City 250 which will be held on Friday August 20th. There are 52 cars entered in this race, as usual over 15 Sprint cup drivers entered. We are hoping that NASCAR makes some sort of new ruling for the 2011 season with the Sprint drivers in the NNS races……… A bit of controversy among fans and drivers at the moment.
Jeremy and the team will be off next week and then in Atlanta on September 4th for the Atlanta 200.
